JULIE VALERIE mother of four, wife to one, and carpooler to all, is also an author, book blogger, and avid Scrabble player who once played QWERTY on a triple word. Certified in wilderness first aid and helping kids through homework (skills that partner nicely), when Julie's not writing, scraping, scrubbing or pinning, she's hard at work developing a series of humorous women's fiction novels set in the satirical Village of Primm. Julie's books explore the juxtaposition of the conventional and the absurd in the underground world of moms, and are a social commentary on motherhood and parenting, written with a goal she feels so strongly about she's placed it in capital letters: Make Moms Laugh. Sweet Cherry Pie (Book #1, Fall 2014), Whoopsie Daisy (Book #2, Fall 2015), and if she hasn’t dropped dead of exhaustion by then, Lolligag (Book #3) will release Fall 2016. After that, Julie plans to take a nap. Julie Valerie (first name Julie, last name Valerie) is a member of James River Writers, Virginia Writers Club, the Alliance of Independent Authors, and the Independent Book Publishers Association. She enjoys book marketing and publicity, attending writing and publishing conferences, and spends way too much time networking through social media and on her book blog: "Julie Valerie's Book Blog" found at www.julievalerie.com.
